Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 July 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using EatWisely, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What EatWisely is (and is not)

EatWisely is an AI-assisted educational tool that suggests meal plans and food-first strategies based on peer-reviewed research and information you provide.

EatWisely is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and does not establish a doctor–patient relationship. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always discuss significant dietary, supplement, or lifestyle changes with a qualified healthcare provider, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medication.

If you experience red-flag symptoms (chest pain, severe abdominal pain, uncontrolled bleeding, signs of stroke, suicidal thoughts, etc.), stop using the app and contact emergency services immediately.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create a EatWisely account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time.

Child profiles. A parent or legal guardian may add profiles for their own children inside their account, to generate age-appropriate meal plans and track growth. By adding a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian, you consent on their behalf, and you take responsibility for how the plan is used. EatWisely never generates adult-style calorie-deficit plans for a minor and will point you to a pediatrician when a growth trajectory looks off.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use EatWisely for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or scrape the service.
  • Upload content that is harmful, misleading, or violates someone else's rights.
  • Rely on EatWisely for emergency medical decisions.

5. Subscriptions and payments

EatWisely offers a Free plan and paid plans (Basic, Premium, and optional expert-review add-ons). Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with prior notice.

6. Intellectual property

EatWisely, its content, brand and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the personal information and meal logs you input, and grant us a limited licence to process them in order to operate the service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EatWisely and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any health outcome resulting from decisions you make based on information provided by the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting your account.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app.
